Olle Lindberg, born 1967,comes from a family of composers: his father Nils and great-uncle Oskar. The first published work came in the late 1990ś at Gehrmans Publishing. His music is influenced by classical music, rock, jazz and folk music. He studied counterpoint and composition for Lars-Erik Rosell between 1998-2001.Singing in great ensembles like Gustaf Sjökvist Chamber Choir,Vo No (Voces Nordicae) and Eric Ericson Chamber Choir has given him a profound understanding of the particular demands in writing for voices. Olle has also a genuine interest in orchestral colours; he has played double bass in orchestras as well as the electric guitar in big bands. Nowadays he plays mostly acoustic guitar in his two duos and double bass in larger groups. A wish for the future: to write an opera or a musical!
